 Together with their families, my students designed an original Math Toy from waste materials at home. Later, they introduced the math toys to their friends at school. In the introduction, the students told their friends about which waste types they made the toy and how it was played. Then the students played with math toys. Designing and making a product with waste materials and playing with it made the students happy.

      My students present the toys made at home with their parents from recycled materials.  Each child introduced their toy to their  classmates.     They played together with the games they made at home. They practiced counting, composing and decomposing numbers, they made number-quantity correspondence of objects. They learned that they can reuse objects, that they used to throw away, helping to protect the environment.
