          We designed and made the letter "C" with cardboard tangram game pieces from recycled boxes that the children painted with tempera watercolors. This is one of the letters which form the name of the project ,,RECYCLED MATH” - joint product, made with tangram pieces.

      My students present the toys made at home with their parents from recycled materials.  Each child introduced their toy to their  classmates.     They played together with the games they made at home. They practiced counting, composing and decomposing numbers, they made number-quantity correspondence of objects. They learned that they can reuse objects, that they used to throw away, helping to protect the environment.
